Account: Local in oak woodland throughout much of England and Wales Fairly unmistakable, but worn, faded specimens could be confused with second generation Clay Triple-lines C. linearia, which see. Larva feeds on Pedunculate and Sessile Oak, over-wintering as a pupa.
